About APSU

APSU was established in 2011 following a merger between Apex Computers International Ltd (formed in 1989), an IBM mid-market infrastructure business, and AssurIT (formed in 1996), an IBM managed services company.

APSU is a technology pioneer delivering cloud-based services into the IBM mid-range market many years before any other company. Working in conjunction with IBM, APSU provides a fully managed high-availability service known as SHARP (Secure, High-Availability, Recovery and Processor on-demand), for the Power i environment under a worldwide agreement with IBM.

A leader in its chosen field of delivering IBM Power solutions to the UK market, its portfolio also covers technical consultancy, procurement, managed services, cloud hosting and physical co-location.

Recognised by IBM as one of its strategic partners, the company sits on IBM’s Worldwide Cloud Advisory Council and is the UK’s only representative on IBM’s Global Business Partner Advisory Council. APSU is the most highly accredited IBM business partner in Europe and became IBM’s first partner to secure MSP accreditation for their Managed Services Partner program in the UK.

The company has enjoyed significant growth, with a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 129 per cent in the last three years and plans to further expand its services into cloud-based offerings for the UK, Europe and worldwide markets. Strategic partnerships with IBM and Interoute, Europe’s largest cloud services platform provider, will provide the platform for this expansion.

APSU is headquartered in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, and has data centres in Cirencester, Coventry, London, Newport and Warwick.

APSU is a trading name of Apex Computers International Limited and TWP IT Limited. Both companies are subsidiaries of APSU Capital Limited.
