For the second year running, APSU has received the IBM Centre of Technical Excellence (CoTE) for Business Partners Award, demonstrating the deep sales and technical knowledge APSU provides its clients with IBM hardware.
The award recognises IBM business partners that have achieved the highest levels of technical vitality in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. By developing and increasing the skills of their sales and technical professionals, award-winning business partners deliver quality and skilled service to their clients.
APSU specialises in IBM’s Power i range of servers (formerly known as the iSeries and AS/400), and it has expertise on AIX running on Power Systems, PureFlex (both Lenovo x86 and IBM Power nodes) and Enterprise Storage.
As an IBM Premier Partner, APSU is IBM’s highest accredited business partner in Europe and is the only UK member of IBM’s Global Business Partner Advisory Council. Viewed by IBM as a strategic partner, it has an elite position in the channel, sitting at number one position for Power Systems (i and AIX), PureFlex and Enterprise Storage.
Chris Boyles, director of technical services said, “Achieving the award in 2014 was an honour and reflected the investment we have made in our consultants to deliver first-class support. To achieve the award for the second year running, is a testament to the continued investment we have made to ensure that our technical expertise for Power Systems (i and AIX), PureFlex and Enterprise storage is still second to none.”
